Major Taylor Cycling Club San Diego, Inc. is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization registered with the state of California.

Established in 2007 by Odale Baker, MTCCSD is a diverse cycling club open to all levels of cyclists from the novice to the competitive racer. Its purpose is to bring people together through a shared interest in cycling for such purposes as:

Our riders get together throughout the weeks in small friendship groups.  However, our typical Club rides are Saturday mornings starting from San Diego, Chula Vista, National City, or NoCo.  Rides are curated by members and include a diverse library of routes 25-50 miles that may take us to Oceanside, Coronado, East County and more.  Moreover, all members and friends are welcome to suggest or lead a new ride! Whether we ride as one large group, or divide into Alpha and Bravo teams, by speed, a sweeper always rides along to make sure no rider is left behind.

The members who make up the club are bound by our love of the sport. Our origins and occupations are diverse.

Whether you’re a novice or seasoned rider, casual or cycling activist, we want to know you.  Please subscribe to our calendar, and/or become a member.

The Major Taylor Cycling Club of San Diego was established in 2007 by Odale Baker with the vision of building community.
