As a cyclist, the Major Taylor Cycling Club of San Diego has given me a true sense of community, motivation, and purpose both on and off the bike. From the moment I joined the club in 2021, they have been a supportive and selfless group of individuals . Riding with them has also strengthened my discipline, expanded my friendships, and deepened my pride in representing Major Taylor’s legacy. Joining MTCCSD remains one of the best decisions I have made

I have been riding with Major Taylor San Diego for a couple of years. They’re such a fun interesting and diverse group of riders. I always look forward to my Saturday ride with this group.

I love this club. The camaraderie and support from fellow cyclists are unmatched, and I am proud to learn of and help honor Major Taylor’s legacy.

While Major Taylor’s battles represent the prejudices of the past, the unity of this club gives me hope for the future.
